Hello John, They're probably using Outlook or Outlook Express, and it's having a problem downloading one of the messages in their mailbox. Outlook does not delete messages from the server until it has retrieved EVERY message from the server, nor does it remember which ones it's already retrieved if there's an error... so they'll see the same messages over and over again. There is one Mac client that behaves this way, too.
The way to check is to get the text of one of the repeating messages (just a short, unique snippet is enough), and do a query of the messageblk table for all records containing that text... if there's only one or two, you need text from the LATEST message they've retrieved, to narrow the search for the problem message (the one Outlook can't retrieve), so that you can tag it as deleted. (this can sometimes happen when a virus scanner won't let Outlook process a downloaded message, due to a virus hit. Outlook doesn't recover gracefully in many instances) If there really ARE multiple matches for the message, look for redundant aliases in the aliases table, which might cause dbmail to "loop" on delivery for a single account.
