Interesting... is that also in 1.2? There was a fix for the apop state machine somewhere around there, and I just verified that it is in 1.2, but I don't know if it fixes that problem specifically. I actually thought it was for logging an error mistakenly, not any actual problem in the server. What does the server log when this happens?

Entourage will see the APOP stamp on the greeting and default to APOP mode. APOP will always yield an incomplete session error regardless if the session was correct or not.
