Hello Privat-MIS, PM> Now I dont get the messeges and thats a shame....cause its really PM> nice to get them
PM> I have updated the alias file, but can I specific a mail-adress PM> there??? Messages are being generated, most likely, but you have to configure their routing. For my case, using postfix + dbmail, I have /etc/postfix/aliases route all mail for "root" or "postmaster" to an alias that exists within dbmail, complete with the domain name. Similar to: postmaster: root root: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Since postfix knows that mail for the domain goes to dbmail, it injects it into dbmail for delivery. Mail that DOESN'T have the domain on it is likely to be found in /var/spool/mail, or in the original Maildir. Remember to run newaliases on the alias file, then have postfix reload it. -- Jeff Brenton President, Engineered Software Products, Inc http://espi.com Questionable web page: http://dididahdahdidit.com Liberalism grants you the freedom to advocate any idea*. * Please see http://www.dididahdahdidit.com/except.php for a current list of exceptions
