Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I am not good at it (which is I
guess why I was hoping I could manage dbmail this way, and end up delegating
aspects of that management to others even less capable than myself, if
that's possible).

Just had a look at Joe Cooper's awesome online "Book of Webmin" (I'm
ordering one on Amazon!):

http://www.swelltech.com/support/webminguide/

- which covers the custom commands you reference:

http://www.swelltech.com/support/webminguide/ch15.html#othcustom

Do you know of any tutorials/resources that might help a newbie identify how
to organize dbmail scripts/programs/configurations in this manner?

I know it sounds pathetic, but as dbmail grows, there's going to be a lot of
folks like myself attracted to it for all the right reasons, who have a lot
of experience in (Mac) server administration (email especially), but none
whatsoever in unix. We embrace the unix underpinnings of Mac OSX, but also
find it somewhat daunting. Webmin gives folks like us a familiar management
paradigm.

At the same time the Mac community really needs dbmail. The primary Mac
mail server, Eudora Internet Mail Server (www.eudora.co.nz) is an awesome
and stable product. We have used it almost flawlessly since 1996 with over
a thousand users and more than 10,000 message per day. But is does not
support any kind of webmail and is STILL in OSX beta. The original (and
expensive) Mac web server, WebSTAR, has webmail support, but not into MySQL.
WebSTAR was acquired by 4D (http://www.4d.com/products/webstar.html), who in
my opinion have made it an inferior buggy product. A mass migration to
Apache could not have come at a better time.

Hence my love affair with Webmin - so many Mac managers could have not moved
to OS-X without it. I have been using it just over a year.

I have just installed dbmail (yesterday) - other than the README and EXTRAS
files that came with the install (which in all honesty I do not even fully
understand), what is the best way of getting it going? Is there any kind of
tutorial/reference yet?

Thanks in advance.
