I noticed the schema change when upgrading from 1.1. It was rather
simple: the password field expanded from 32 to 34 characters (I assume
this is to allow MD5 hashes with salt).

A simple ALTER statement sufficed to upgrade my installation. Mine's
much smaller (only 1 personal account until I decide if it's genuinely
ready for mass use in a Sendmail environment), but I had no problems
at all after I issued an appropriate ALTER statement and fired up the
new version of DBMail daemons.
