Hello all, This week(end) I spent in installing dbmail and looking at the scripts of Jacques Beaudoin.........HIS SCRIPTS ARE GREAT...........
I noticed also there was a need for a tool to sort messages, I searched the archives and found "procmail" was the tool to get....... I found "imapfilter" http://freshmeat.net/projects/imapfilter/ This one connects to a imapserver (as dbmail) and applies rules on user request or in daemon mode. The best tool for the job..... I found... It sorts, moves, copies messages in and between imap-acccounts The tests I did where WOW! I don't know it's speed on a "big" site I had 2 rules on 20.000 messages in different folders and 2 items to check on each rule (twice checking a string occurunce in the "to:" field, it took about 3 minuts A tool worth reviewing, and realy realy a lot easier as procmail.
