Curious as to how dbmail-lmtpd and Postfix work together:

Should the MAXPROC setting under the Postfix master.cf entry for
dbmail-lmtp be set to the same setting as NCHILDREN and MAXCHILDREN
under dbmail.conf? What about the Postfix master.cf entry for the
lmtp service?

I'm not exactly sure as to the handoff of a local messages:

postfix lmtp service -> postfix dbmail-lmtp service -> dbmail-lmtpd?

I ask because dbmail.conf is setup to only spawn 2 LMTP daemons by
default, however Postfix is setup to allow both 100 default processes for
the lmtp and dbmail-lmtp services under master.cf

Using this default setup starts out fine, but after a few minutes and a
few successful deliveries, Postfix then complains that it cannot connect to
the lmtp daemon anymore. If I do a telnet to the port, I cannot connect
either.

I'm sure I need to lower maxprocs under Postfix master.cf, but I'd like to
understand the relationship between the Postfix and dbmail-lmtpd before
mucking around with it.
