Hello,

Can someone post the complete solution?

If I had it...
I have only the (still working for me) workaround which I mentioned in an earlier reply on this thread, which is renaming /usr/local/lib/libdbmail.0.0.0 to /usr/local/lib/libdbmail.so.0.0.0 and then run ldconfig, which will create the proper links (I had removed the links to libdbmail.0.0.0 beforehand). This is not a solution, of course, but I don't know much about libtool and my short search quest on it didn't give me more insight.

Cheers,
Vincent.

--------
I have not used dbmail2 on gentoo either, however I have successfully been running dbmail 1.2.8 i believe for a few months now, however i did not use the ebuild for it, i originally used the cvs for it, From what I have seen people are having problems with dbmail 2 still, which is making me hold off from switching over. And even with the build via cvs/source , i do not have a libdbmail so anywhere...
