Maybe not the same problem but very similar.
I do mean the frozen of imap server that it works, I can see it as normal processes, no zombie or etc but does not respont to any requests. As I see there are some clients working further but finaly they stops too. We use different versions of dbmail, so I don't know what to think.

Ahh...well I don't believe ours has had the same problem them.
The imap server hasn't frozen.
But I've also had this problem with a non-dbmail imap server.
So I'm still leaning towards tbird.

Maybe it's a little of both?

I've been noticing this too lately...I think it's a thunderbird problem.
We're using dbmail 2.0.0 + mysql 4.0 and various thunderbird version
(mostly .9 though). It basically seemed to start some time after upgrading
to tbrid .9....

Anyone have any clues as to what we can do to resolve this? Do we just wait for 1.0 and hope it is fixed...or could it be a .9 & dbmail problem that we
can fix on the dbmail end of things?

I had this feeling about thunderbird too.. but if I connect to server only with one client and the problem occurs, no more client can connect after that until I restart the dbmail-imapd. So if the all problem is caused by thunderbird why the dbmail-imapd server freezes?!

I took a look at the changelog of TB 1.0pre and there is no any mention of socket or connection problems, but it does not mean anything...
