Dear all, I have downloaded the latest source and built dbmail for
PostgreSQL I managed to make my way through the steps of the setup process.
I am blocked at the "dbmail-users" step, since it complains that it
"Could not connect to database (check log)".
In the log I get
"Feb 7 10:44:45 debian dbmail/adduser[1474]: dbpgsql.ci,db_connect:
PQconnectdb failed: FATAL: no PostgreSQL user n
ame specified in startup packet"
dbmail.conf specifies all info referring to the ip of the db, the user
and the password. The access permissions to the db are fully
open.However this is the output I keep getting.
Am I missing a step? The DB exists, it has all the proper tables. the
user "dbmail" exists both in Postgres and as a unix login...
