[Dbmail] Problem shut down dbmail-pop3d

Hello to the List,
im realy new at dbmail ;-)

I habe installed DBMail 2.0.3
I have a problem shutdown dbmail-pop3. If i killall dbmail-pop3 the server 
hangs and all connections halts. Only a reboot awakes the maschine. 
I installed dbmail on suse 9.0

Have anybody a hint whats wrong ?
