Ah. But your not trying to debug and maintain a totally miscreant, adhoc mimeparser as present in 2.0. Believe me: it's a major pain in the neck whereas using gmime/glib is just great fun.

True, but then you're already building dbmail from source.

well, its bad that dbmail does not have official packages for known distributations as fedora... but dbmail was the only package so far. now i have to monitor manually another source distribution... this may work for home installations but is horrible for dozens of machines... (no not all machines are absolutely equal, so images are no solution. ;) )

however we get offtopic...

what about releasing binary distributions too (not only source). guess a lot more ppl would use dbmail then. ;)
