Thanks Christian. I've just given myself a crash course in the internals
of exim - which I can't say was one of the things I was most looking
forward to :), but I understand a lot more now!

I have filtering working now, except for (I presume is) what you
mentioned in your first post about the change in behaviour with the
newest version of DBMail.

In my non-filtered transport I have:

 command = "/usr/sbin/dbmail-smtp -d [EMAIL PROTECTED]"

Is there anyway to make -d work with -m? So that I can deliver to an
aliases mailbox, not a username.
