I've run into a strange problem with dbmail while doing some migrations from pop mail to imap on my server.

When I drag & drop mails from the local pop account to the imap server, depending on which smtp server they came thru originally, all the dates on the header window in mail.app 2.0 are in 2038.

When previewing, it shows the correct date...

This seems to happen only when the mails originally came thru one brain-dead qmail server (which I don't have any control of).

If I do upload the mail on cyrus imap server, this doesn't happen and the mails have the correct dates.

Also, if I use thunderbird instead of mail.app 2.0, the dates appear correct.

So, how I read this is that this seems to be both server and client specific issue. I was seeing the same behaviour in Outlook, but in that previewing the mail fixed the dates in header window.

One outlook user also reports the dates still being incorrect until previewed for the first time.

Any clues? I'm using 2.0.7 with Postgres.
