Hi,
I tried to use dbmail 2.0.7 and dspam 3.6.2 in dbmail-lmtp (instead of
dbmail-smtp as described in
http://www.dbmail.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=postfix_-_dspam_-_dbmail for
perfomance reason).
I see valid LMTP exchange in tcpdump log:
I was trying to debug problems with lmtp delivery postfix-dspam-dbmail
about 9 months or so ago. Problems ranged from different handling of
error codes to dspam-lmtp daemon crashes/hangs.
After couple of days of banging my head to the wall, I just ditched the
whole project and falled back to using postfix - pipe - dspam - smtp -
dbmail-smtp which works flawlessly.
I have to note that postfix - lmtp - dbmail-lmtp doesn't have any
problems (I do virtual hosting, hence the need of flexibility) and I use
it for customers that don't want dspam.
