Hello,
I'm having a problem with Mozilla Thunderbird and dbmail running on
debian unstable (debian package dbmail2-mysql 2.0.7+20060109-1). If I do
a search for imap messages in Thunderbird with three or more "OR" search
terms, such as "match any of the following: subject contains: foo, bar,
baz", Thunderbird only finds messages matching the last term (e.g.
"baz"), and not all messages matching any of the terms as it should.
I have tested Windows and Linux versions of Thunderbird, including the
latest nightly trunk build. I thought this was a problem with
Thunderbird and filed a bug at
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=324678 but I tested with
another IMAP server (which I unfortunately don't know anything about,
like whether it's dbmail or not) and with that server the search works
exactly as it should. Also, on the problematic dbmail server, searching
with Evolution or Horde IMP works as it should. It's Thunderbird and
dbmail that somehow don't play along.
Any ideas on this? I tried searching in the bug tracking system and the
mailing lists but didn't find anything.
kind regards,
Tuukka
