I'll be using horde's passwd module with IMP for this.

I believe MySQL 5 has functions, but I don't know about
triggers. Another feature we have to use is the function
actually makes a connection to a remote database since
the dbmail users and the radius users are not in the same
database. Again, don't know if MySQL has that ability.
The same thing can be accomplished with a script so that
it updates both places each time.

Subject: [Dbmail] user management
Hi all,
I have a little problem and was wondering how you guys deal with that.
I already have a mysql db with which I manage user names, passwords and
more. Letting people subscribe to the dbmail and adding the user name to
the dbmail db isn't a big deal since the username never changes. Not so
with the passwd users in my users db can change their passwd and yes i
could change my php script to where it changes the passwd in both
tables. The users db table and if the same user is in the dbmail
changing it there as well. I was wondering if there is an easier way
maybe linking the two tables in mysql or something like that?
