Hi, We tried to use lmtp before but we stopped using it because we are getting other problems because the handling of postfix (with mysql) will not go well and will bounce all mail. It's a very critical system for us since it hosts around 2000 domains so testing on this system is not one of the options.
So if I understand your option about the main.cf well I put in the "/etc/postfix/main.cf" a line like this: dbmail-smtp_time_limit = 4000 (or something like that) In my opinion LMTP should be working in a Postfix MySQL configuration. Or are there any issues about it because we won't get it to work on the right way. Thx a lot!
