Ok then, if you're not running anything else on that mysql server, use
mysql-server from testing.
OK this worked Paul, THANK YOU VERY MUCH, but I don't get it how do
you guys run dbmaiL-mysql on stable without installing mysql-5
I got one worry, I have one rather important mysql db, it's the the
table for our xoops site. That db just got upgraded by the install to
mysql 5. Thw xoops site still works fine.
Should I be worried? Can this be reversed in the future meaning can I
back that db up and still dump it in to lets say mysql 4.1? I know you
said if I am not using mysql for anything else but that is a bit
unrealistic don't you think? The truth is I forgot that I had moved
this side already over to the new server.
Again, thank you very very much if you have a donate account some
place where I can support the open source work you do let me know.
