reference? I was poking around MySQL ref, see the syntax,
but could use an explination.
This sounds like it is *exactly* what I need.
Since I use postgresql I couldn't help you much further.
But looking for a "postgresql-equivalent of tablespace" I found this

Thought it might be usefull in your case, but not in mine.
