I was indeed comparing dbmail-imapd with cyrus-imapd, and not comparing POP3 protocol with IMAP protocol, i know the diferences, i'm not a simple user :P

Then you should fraise your question better, so you get the right answer.

I sayd Paul or Aaron because they are the only programmers i know, maybe there's more but i don't have they
name by head.

Does one need to be a dbmail programmer in order to answer this type of question? Or can it also be a fellow user? That's actually what a mailinglist is for, taking the load of answering questions of Paul and Aaron, but having them standby where the answer is not right/ complete.

Continuing, in fact i remember that when i connect with the qmail pop3d, all messages where downloaded (maybe i dreamed about this also it's possible), were they in the imap INBOX folder, or Sent Items or other, so the same question, should them all be downloaded with the dbmail-pop3d or not?

This is not normal behaviour. If cyrus has implemented this feature, it should be something which has to be configured explicitly. Pop3 only know 1 mailbox, the INBOX.
