Rather interesting..
I've been always admired by id's that (if I'm not mistaken) come from Outlook.

This is in my Exim's mainlog:

2006-11-29 14:07:31 1GpNHm-000Auo-Sg <= [EMAIL PROTECTED] H=XXXXXXXXX (XXXXXXXXX) [XXXXXXXXX] P=esmtpa A= auth_login:XXXXXXXXX S=337071 id=!&[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Is that the Id you're talking about? It's 102 characters long.

Imo, headernames longer than 100 chars are *not* sane, if at all valid.

If you encounter headernames that dont fit on a regular basis, let me know.
