Hi,

In one of the responses to a bug I reported, I was told this:
"As an aside, if you have customers, you owe it to them to have a backup
server."

Our dbmail database is backed up every night. Last night something went
wrong with the data in the database. This happened before the backup was
started so the backup became useless.

If I would have some fancy mirroring solution it would have replicated the
problem. So that wouldn't have helped.
It's not an option to restore a database from the day before either.
I guess the only thing I can do is take a backup more often but it hurts
performance. I mean really it not that easy...
How often do you guys take a backup?

thanks,
Anne
