I have a question about using bytea to store email data into a database.
I realize this has little if anything to do with dbmail directly other than dbmail uses the same data structure in postgres for storing mail.

I'm running into an error that just says, 'invalid input syntax for type bytea' and I haven't yet been able to trap anything more.

If anyone has some experience with the parsing of mail into this data type they might have run into this same problem.
Any hints/tips would be appreciated.
