I agree. While not tracking bugs in 2.2, I'm working on a drastic cleanup of the whole serverparent.c,server.c,serverchild.c,pool.c tangle and a redesign of the whole server framework that will (hopefully) support forked workers and/or threading. It will take a long time before I'll merge that code into my master git tree, before it hits svn. Something else I'm working on on-and-off is a driver for ingres. The basics are already in svn-trunk, but I won't have time to finish that before the summer.
Apart from these high-impact changes, extending the imap capabilities will also start pushing the current codebase forward as Aaron and I start getting under steam. Some of those will have a lot of impact on the code, other will be more straight forward. And then I havent even begun serious work on prepared statements, mime-chunking during message storage, and other wild and less wild ideas we're thinking about. So like Aaron suggests, don't hold your breath. Just enjoy the 2.2 ride as we move forward with that branch. Aaron Stone wrote: > Please don't ask until next year.
