Hello dear DBMail list members, I did setup dbmail on my webserver using the Tutorial
Postfix - sasl/tls - MailScanner - DBMail in dbmail.org. As Database Model i used the one found under /usr/share/doc/dbmail-2.2 of my gentoo installation. I did everything exactly like described in the turorial above. Now I'm able to connect with my E-Mail Client, which means Evolution, to the DBMail Server using a pop3 connection. But when i try to send an email, postfix says RCPT TO <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> blah, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : Relay access denied. I played a bit around with the transport.cf file, and the dbmail_vdomain table, but could not figure out, how to get my clients host accepted. Now, as i found out, what the dbmail_aliases is good for, i entered a couple of E-Mail Adresses in it. Are there more fields i have to enter contents, if i want to use a setup like the one found in the tutorial? Or do i still have to make some changes to the main.cf of postfix not described, because it was not written for use on real life mailservers? It would nice to get an answer. I'm now trying to get a mailserver up and running in about three or four month. Thank you very much.
