We could put this on list of items to do during 2.3 development. I
would
not like to add any sort of rewrite support to 2.2, however, because I
think that's crossing the vague gray chasm that, say, @.domain support
did not cross.
Maybe I should take this to the dev list:
Although I can see your point here, I start regretting the fact more
that there will be a complete
makeover before 2.3 which will make small changes slower to be
implemented.
Isn't it better to divide development to small changes to 2.3.0, and
the makeover (threads or database workers) for 3.0.0?
