I don't know if any of you has tried to run dbmail on mysql dbcluster yet.
What follows is the report of my attempt.
Scenario:
frebsd 6.2 stable amd64 + mysql 5.1.18 compiled with ndb
dbmail 2.2.5rc3 + postfix + amavisd_new + clamd

First of all I had to change the create_tables.mysql sql script to force
mysql to use cluster tables:

s/ENGINE=InnoDB/ENGINE=NDBCLUSTER DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8/g

I then launch the script but it fails with this error:
ERROR 1073 (42000) at line 230: BLOB column 'headervalue' can't be used in key specification with the used table type

I guess you can't use index on blob fields yet. So we have to change this constraint:
UNIQUE (physmessage_id, headername_id, headervalue(255)),

The safest way is simply remove this constraint. I don't know what this could mean in term of speed in servers with many messages / users. If anyone can think of a better way let me know.

Once I do this everything seem to work properly. If someone has any real-life experience of this
please share.

What I'd like to know from the developer is the impact of removing the above-mentioned constraint.

Bye.
