No Paul, no rush.
But i think there's still a small issue with purge when a message is
received by the secund connection via the "send/receive" button.
The other when OE say's the message is no longer on the server i have almost
sure it's OE bug, i had this several times when i used cyrus-imap, but the
purge worked ok.

Disable 'Show Deleted Messages'
so you'll stop hitting that expunge button all the time.
Outlook express is violating the RFC to begin with, and getting confused
along the way. Not much I can do about it at the moment.
