sed -i -e 's/mysql/sqlite/' dbmail.conf

But that doesn't ofcourse migrate any data.

Take a look at the scripts in contrib/sql2sql. They should get you going.

That depends very much on the number of users. If you intent to serve a lot of
users, consider using separate sqlite databases per user.

Simply set the 'db' config item to something like '~/.dbmail.db' and dbmail will
automatically create a database for each user. Of course, in that case, each
user will need a homedirectory, and lmtp is a no-go.
