Hi, I'd like to clarify the actual level of aliases 1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] OK, clear, works
2) [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] OK, called forward, works 3) Holidays: install sieve script using "vacation". OK, works 4) User goes mad (or in holidays), all e-mail shouldbe transferred to user2, and NOT to user: Install sieve script for user, with entry: redirect "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"; vacation. ..... stop; OK, works 5) create system-wide alias postmaster@ -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] Should move all [EMAIL PROTECTED] to the isp user. Does this work? I believe NO. 6) if 5) works, it would be could to still be able to create a user [EMAIL PROTECTED] -> [EMAIL PROTECTED] That would still let all other postmaster@ redirect to isp-user 7) @dom.ain Catch-all address for that domain OK, works So only 5) and 6) are currently not possible, right? Maybe there's a way to do this with the help of postfix? mfg zmi -- // Michael Monnerie, Ing.BSc ----- http://it-management.at // Tel: 0676/846 914 666 .network.your.ideas. // PGP Key: "curl -s http://zmi.at/zmi.asc | gpg --import" // Fingerprint: EA39 8918 EDFF 0A68 ACFB 11B7 BA2D 060F 1C6F E6B0 // Keyserver: www.keyserver.net Key-ID: 1C6FE6B0
