Back in December I've been told not to use UTF-8, that's why we created 
the DB in SQL_ASCII. But recently it was said that UTF-8 was better, 
and we're already having problems with the encoding, so switching to 
UTF-8 would be great.

But how woul d we convert all existing data? In Progress there's a 
function convert(), but how could we apply it? Did anybody do this?
