I think, I writing totally offtop, but I don't know what should I do (yes, I wrote to many
thunderbird-specific places. as a result I have opened a bug

understanding. we use thunderbird with dbmail 2.2.5 (--with-mysql --with-sieve) on debian sarge.
48Gb mail database.
a few weeks ago I have upgraded thunderbird from 1.5 to 2.0. some later my users begun to complain
that they recipients can't open attachments. I checked: it was. ok, I have upgraded to 2.0.0.4 with
the same results. right now I downgrading to 1.5 with the same results;(
let me explain situation:
say alice have letter with pdf attachment. she can open this pdf and save it. now she's forward this
to bob. as you guessed, bob can't open this file. looks like files corrupting randomly. no type,
size, name, user - no any correlation. diff beetwen normal letter and corrupted letter shows that
something cuts 7-8kb from mime encoded text. I'm realy dumb with this problem. will be appreciated
for any help
