hi list I found an interesting fact concerning subj. this bug appears in dbmail-2.2.5, -2.2.5rc3, butdisappeared in dbmail-2.2.4. it also disappeared again in dbmail-2.2.5 if folder's "offline use" mode is on and forwarded mail storing in local cache or if you use forwarding mode "as attachment"
situation: sometimes, when the message with attachments forwards, forwarding copy has the same attachments corrupted. diff showing that forward less than original about 7-8 kb. as a result, recipient can't open this mail how to repeat: thunderbird 2.0.0.4 or 1.5.0.12 for windows or linux (I tested both) with imap account on dbmail server, with forwarding mode "inline", without "offline use" for testing inbox. testing mail must be readed from server (I repeat: no "offline use" mode). mail can contain any type of attachments (I tried pdf, html, gif, doc, xls, odf and combinations). when you do forward, copy of message will open. attachments in this copy will be unreadable tested with dbmail-2.2.5, 2.2.5rc3, 2.2.4. debian etch gnu\linux, mysql-5.0.32-7etch1. dbmail configured with: --with-mysql --with-sieve --enable-static --sysconfdir=/etc/dbmail/ --with-log-dir=/var/log/dbmail/ --prefix=/usr level 5 logs in attachment (and it's coherent!=))
