It's not released yet, but I'll release 2.2.6-rc1 tomorrow.
Does this have the nifty single storage setup?
No way. Single instance requires schema changes. Those don't happen in stable
release series.
But I'll release 2.3.0 right after the summer break (late august). That one will
contain single-instance storage, faster mailbox access, arbitrary flags/labels
and whatever else me and Aaron come up with. You can start /playing/ with it
already by using svn-trunk. As long as noone commits untested changes to the
trunk (I try very hard not to) that shouldn't be a problem. But the trunk has
seen limited exposure to real usage so beware. Still, it's where my development
focus is, and it passes all the tests.
Btw, the \* flags change hasn't been merged into the trunk yet. It's in a
private branch while I finish it.
and is there a way to migrate existing messages to that other than
another db and imapsync?
Migration tools are always provided for each schema change. Beit as sql scripts
or as part of the dbmail-util toolset.
