Hi,

I've just started looking at dbmail because of its scalability.

I'm wondering if anyone out there can provide information about the
a MySQL server's needs -- how well can it scale with dbmail? We're
looking at about 9000 accounts and ~1GB of mail delivered locally to
mailboxes daily. Some days it's more, some days it's less. :)

My biggest question is how big the indices are that MySQL uses for
the dbmail schema. With, 1GB of email, how much overall disk does
   MySQL need?

The next question is load. How optimized are the queries, and will
40 POP/IMAP connections per minute be problematic? What about one
new email message every two seconds, sometimes in bursts of 100 per
second? Will INSERTs take too long as the indices are updated?

Thanks for any insights,

Chris
