Does DBMail support the Cyrus or GNU SASL libraries?

We currently use Postfix, Cyrus IMAP and OpenLDAP for our mail
infrastructure. They all link with the Cyrus SASL library, so we support
single sign on authentication to SMTP, IMAP and LDAP against Kerberos
with SASL GSSAPI.

The result is convenient and secure for our users, who only need to
enter their password once, when they login to a workstation. It's also
convenient for our systems admins, who only need to get SASL working to
enable secure single sign on to SMTP, IMAP and LDAP.

We additionally support single sign on to web mail using Apache
mod_auth_kerb, SquirrelMail and the PHP SASL bindings. Firefox /
Explorer authenticate to Apache against Kerberos with SPNEGO and
SquirrelMail uses the proxied credentials to authenticate to Cyrus IMAP.

We're considering migrating to DBMail for flexibility of an SQL message
backend, but SASL GSSAPI support is essential. Does DBMail currently
support the Cyrus or GNU SASL libraries, or are there plans for this
support?

Much thanks! Jack
