Hi,

I am running the Debian Packages of dbmail 2.2.7 - it automatically puts a dbmail-util to run nightly to clean up the database.

Problem I have is that I have one db server and multiple servers processing mail - so I get multiple copies of dbmail-util running (and watching the SQL logs, the same identical delete from statements running)

My suggestion would be to have some kind of lock so that when dbmail-util is running in cleanup mode, it can't be run a second time (even on a different server) - I know that mysql has a lock that you can request, not sure about the other db's.

Just a thought,
Josh
