Roundcube is indeed a pretty webmail client. However, if I understand Uwe
correctly he would be more interested in a no-frills imap-reader; a mailbox-view
applet if you will.

It would not be very difficult to build, using standard tools. You don't need a
spiffy rich-text editor, and would only have to implement facade calls for:

x LOGIN
x LIST "" *
x EXAMINE mailbox
x FETCH pagestart:pagestop (UID ENVELOPE)
x UID FETCH (BODY[])


I'm not aware of a project that does this.
