Hi I am trying to tweak my DBMail/stunnel setup so that I can communicate with it using IMAP with Outlook 2007 on Windows Vista.
DBMail 2.2.8 Stunnel 4.22 Working systems: IMAP from Pegasus Mail on Windows XP using SSLv3 and TLS IMAP from Outlook 2003 on Windows XP using SSLv2 IMAP from Thunderbird on Windows Vista using TLS The stunnel certificate is self-signed, with the root certificate installed in Internet Explorer (XP and Vista) and Thunderbird (Vista) Also, Outlook 2007 on Vista works with a different TLS-enabled IMAP system But when I try to connect to dbmail using TLS, stunnel logs: May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG5[30736:134739968]: imaptlsv1 accepted connection from 130.88.113.168:4130 May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG5[30736:134739968]: imaptlsv1 connected remote server from 127.0.0.1:62591 May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG5[30736:134739968]: Negotiations for imap (server side) started May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG5[30736:134739968]: Protocol negotiations succeeded May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG3[30736:134739968]: SSL_accept: Peer suddenly disconnected May 20 13:11:29 p64 stunnel: LOG5[30736:134739968]: Connection reset: 0 bytes sent to SSL, 0 bytes sent to socket I also get "suddenly disconnected" with SSLv2 and v3. Disabling all firewalls has no effect. Has anyone else seen this behaviour and/or know how to fix it? Many thanks Bernard Treves Brown -- Dr Bernard J.
