As for message mangling, I've experienced a few isolated cases of
something similar too. I haven't investigated yet.
I'd say hold tight until Paul (main devel) is back.
Also you could have a look at level 5 logs of message insertion (or
whenever the message gets mangled) and see what's going on there too.
Maybe it's not even dbmail but your MTA that is doing it. Can you
reproduce it manually using LMTP? Like a telnet session to localhost 24 etc.
If you can manually reproduce this then please share the level 5 logs.
