Hi

Ive just downloaded and compile 2.2.11-rc3 (statically)

Firts i just stopped my current 2.2.11-rc2 deamons and then i tired to test the
new one 2.2.11-rc3

running "./dbmail-imapd -nv"

states

Oct 30 12:12:10 quasar dbmail-imapd[13631]: Debug:[serverparent]
serverparent.c,LoadServerConfig(+308): socket []
Oct 30 12:12:10 quasar dbmail-imapd[13631]: Debug:[serverparent]
serverparent.c,LoadServerConfig(+320): binding to PORT [143]
Oct 30 12:12:10 quasar dbmail-imapd[13631]: Debug:[serverparent]
serverparent.c,LoadServerConfig(+341): binding to IP [*]
Oct 30 12:12:10 quasar dbmail-imapd[13631]: Debug:[serverparent]
serverparent.c,LoadServerConfig(+348): no value for BACKLOG in config file.
Using default value [16]

but netstat -atnp (as root) doesnt show any TCP/143 opened

Extract from netstatt -atnp

3526/master
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:1723...

Also my kmail client complains on not be able to reach 127.0.0.1 (where is my
imapd)

On the other way

running ./dbmail-imapd it backgrounds and correctly opens tcp/143 appearing in
netstat's output

tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:4775 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN

8287/cupsd
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:631 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
8287/cupsd
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:5432 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
10721/postmaster
tcp 0 0 127.0.0.1:25 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
3526/master

3962/ktorrent

and kmail now read the mailboxes without problems

So i suspect the -nv mode of operation has some problem.
