Hi there,

I simply want to collect e-mails from pop3/imap services and store them in mysql.
e.g.
pop.gmail.com ->
mail.internode.on.net ->        dbmail    ->     mysql
pop.mail.yahoo.com ->

But I think I'm trying to use dbmail for the wrong problem?

Thanks for your advice.
Doug

sounds like it might be a bit overkill though fairly easy to implement
do you ever want to get them out in "email" form again?

what do you want to do once its in mysql?

I think you're right (overkill), and I think I should just be using something like http://framework.zend.com/manual/en/zend.mail.read.html but anyway, I thought dbmail had the db structures in place and so just to explore a little more....

Once it is in mysql I'm planning on creating a web front-end to display them to the users in a highly customised way - it's just for specific sort of emails that a client has. Actually, where would the config live for setting up multiple email accounts (hosts, ports, login, pass) etc?

Thanks!
