Mauro,

Remy

Here at home I have three email accounts, plus accounts of my wife and my children. A problem that often occurs with everyone here is searching for an email subject in the email body or attachment: research must be done account by account, and often without result because of the limits of the inboxes of the email accounts.

Reading about dbmail, I came across the following post:
http://old.nabble.com/import-messages-from-GMail-into-dbmail-by-imap-to29716318.html#a29716318

It made me think that maybe I could install dbmail in a server I have running proxy and firewall, and making all incoming and outgoing emails to be stored. Search in mysql is easy.

Is it possible ? How ? Is there a HowTo for this ?

Thanks,

Mauro M. Ferreira
