at the moment I am facing a similar problem with dbmail3 (RC3). After
solving the login problem, a new one occurs, when a slow internet connection
trys to download a "huge" email with attachement (15 MB) via POP3 (56k
modem).
In dbmail.conf I set the TIMEOUT to 600 seconds (10 minutes). The manual
says about TIMEOUT: "# Idle time allowed before a connection is shut off."
So in my oppionion this means, the connection is only shut off, if it is
really ilde for more than 10 minutes. However if I try to download the
mentioned email, the connection always breaks after 10 minutes of
downloading ("Server closed connection.").
If I set TIMEOUT to 3600 (1 hour), everything works fine till the end.
Does anyone have a hint? It seems to be a bug or is this the expected
behaviour by design?
