http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/09/12/google_mariadb_mysql_migration/ interesting for the ones using MySQL as backend
*currently* keep your fingers from MaraDB in conext of DBMail there is a major bug which is fixed and will be in 5.5.33 release affecting *any* release ever happend, but after that keep in mind that nearly any major linux-distribution is switching and sooner or later Oracle MySQL become meaningless as any opensource project Orcale tocuhed is dying why not use MariaDB now: https://mariadb.atlassian.net/browse/MDEV-4978 as far as i can say the bug is really fixed, but let us wait for the 5.5.33 realease and confirm it by unit-tests special thanks to Paul providing a predictable test-case! _______________________________ BTW - do we have any number of the DBMail userbase? currently it feels like a niche in mail-systems but looking at what Paul made of it with 3.0/3.1 i never felt more confirmed that my decision to use it 2009 for my first production mail-system and build a eco-system around it than now honestly i love this piece of software for a lot of reasons
