Well I'm happy to say on a sample size of 2 the following works for me in Roundcube
- - some headers where no longer being cached which caused problems for users of webmail clients which didn't show the attachment icons when needed. Given the issues I've been having caution went to the wind and 3.1.8 has gone live for us, hopefully we'll see some improvement. That said, so far I'm noticing a light and day difference with webmail, but perhaps that's because my senses are dulled after a Christmas lunch! Symptoms range from spin-lock (100% cpu) to pile up of CLOSE_WAIT tcp states (bug #1029). I have tried my utmost to test and validate this, but please verify this before and after deployment. - - some small leaks were uncovered and fixed in the IMAP code. Every little bit helps. - - the self-pipe pattern was restored which will improve the performance which had dropped in IMAP during 3.1.7 - - export of mailboxes suffered from a few problems which have now been addressed. - - some headers where no longer being cached which caused problems for users of webmail clients which didn't show the attachment icons when needed. - - when processing sieve scripts, the message headers are fully decoded before passing them through sieve. bug: #952 - - finally, a new feature: the ACL are now also applied for the owner of a mailbox, allowing for fine-grained access to all mailboxes, not just shared ones. downloads: http://www.dbmail.org/download/3.1/dbmail-3.1.8.tar.gz http://git.dbmail.eu/paul/dbmail/snapshot/dbmail-3.1.8.tar.gz https://github.com/pjstevns/dbmail/archive/v3.1.8.tar.gz changelog: http://git.dbmail.eu/paul/dbmail/log/?h=dbmail_3_1&id=v3.1.8 - -- ________________________________________________________________ Paul J Stevens pjstevns @ gmail, twitter, github, linkedin * Premium Hosting Services and Web Application Consultancy * www.nfg.nl/[email protected]/+31.85.877.99.97 ________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlKwT1IACgkQ8iITvBH4zTFVOwCgiMIcyIzcVF2DRBNyjswrk+hB KZoAoMbt+BdGaIBmR747946VZglMBBKR =xGT/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail (t) + 44 (0)20 7242 8444 (e) [email protected] (w) http://www.cwa.uk.com/ _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list [email protected] http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
