I tried the config from the link below but am having issues with it. I
am listening to both 143 and 993 but would like only 993.

I did realize I can comment out the include conf.d/ but I left it as is.
My objective is to use dovecot as an imap proxy back to my real
dovecot/mysql backend, not to a DBmail backend. I know I should be
posting elsewhere but the dovecot documentation was not helpful either
and I came across the link above.
Some of the things I don't think I can use are:
password_query = SELECT passwd as password, '127.0.0.1' as host, userid
as destuser, passwd AS pass, 'Y' AS
nologin, 'Y' AS nodelay, 'Y' AS proxy FROM dbmail_users WHERE userid='%u'
Any help would be appreciated for just tieing back to a mysql store.
