not that easy as it sounds if the form/web-application is on a different server
where 3rd party PHP code is prohibited for security reasons

however, at least after the first crash and systemd-controlled restart
the validation should happen at startup and disable the sieve script

in the past you got even a one-time mail that this
had been done from dbmail
