I found XCA quite helpful (since I only generate SSL certificates every
now and then I had some basic scripts but i always forgot some command
line - or lost my script ^^
http://sourceforge.net/projects/xca/ <- gui for openssl csr, crt, ...
generation - I used it for my XMPP server with cacert and it worked just
fine :)
